#Project366 – week 21

I wish the weather was as glorious right now as it was during this week in mid-May! Making the most of the sunshine with plenty of delicious food during my numerous birthday celebrations in the capital…

#141 - birthday cake

Day #141 – Taking a deep breath and making a wish…Happy Birthday to me...!

#142 - I heart mature cheddar cheese

Day #142 - I heart intense mature cheddar cheese

#143 - Pitt Cue Co pulled pork and burnt mash

Day #143 – After months of listening to the buzz surrounding the meat feast on offer at Pitt Cue Co, and I was excited to finally check this out with fellow food-bloggers Selina, Giulia and Laura. A Pickleback shot lined our stomachs during the hunger-inducing two-hour queue, but as soon as we tucked in to this incredibly tender pulled pork and smoky burnt mashed potato we knew the wait had been worth it

#144 - Fifteen's monkfish tail

Day #144As well as visiting Mat Follas’s restaurant The Wild Garlic with my family at the end of #week 20, my wonderul boyfriend treated me to a three-course birthday dinner at Jamie Oliver’s restaurant Fifteen. My main course of monkfish tail had a meaty texture yet its flavour remained beautifully light and delicate alongside a bed of lemony broad beans and asparagus

#145 - icecream, blueberries and mango

Day #145 – Cooling down after a scorching day with a bowl of fresh blueberries, low-fat icecream and jelly-like mango chunks

#146 - mussels with cider and cream

Day #146 - One of my favourite summer dinners…juicy pink mussels in a cream and cider sauce

#147 - Perry Court Farm Discovery apple juice

Day #147 - Staying hydrated whilst sunbathing in Green Park with some fresh apple juice from Perry Court Farm, bought during a lunchtime trip to Brockley Market
