I can’t believe I’ve already captured a month’s worth of culinary moments on camera - week 5 waved goodbye to the January blues and welcomed in frosty February. With Valentine’s Day and Shrove Tuesday rapidly approaching, plus an extra 24 hours in the calendar this month for the leap year, I’m predicting some seductive snapshots to get you salivating in the next few #Project366 updates!
Day #29 – Rhubarb crumble, served with custard and ice-cream by a roaring fire at The Hoop in Stock - the perfect pudding to end a pub lunch in the countryside!
Day #30 – Weighing out a breakfast-sized portion of homemade Bircher muesli using the recipe in the latest edition of Jamie Magazine, with added crystallised ginger for some sweet spice
Day #31 - Assembling my healthy seafood supper of lemon couscous with griddled chilli courgette, prawns and spinach into a wrap topped with fiery wasapea by The Dip Society
Day #32 – Missed the train home by minutes so decided to blow the budget on a decent dinner at Browns restaurant instead of simply making do with a takeaway tea
Day #33 – Adding some extra protein to my famous spicy sausage stew by combining lentils with beans and peppers into a rich and flavourful tomato sauce
Day #34 – Trying desperately to resist the tempting treats offered around by my colleagues in the office to celebrate the end of a long week…
Day #35 – Capturing my man’s first bite into his Byron hamburger: juicy pink Scottish beef, dry cure bacon, mature Cheddar cheese and special Byron sauce stuffed into a soft bun
